Resting Metabolic Rate Assessment

Using the Korr metabolic analyzer you can have a reading of your calorie needs in a matter of minutes. Testing your metabolism is easy to complete by simply catching your respiration through a breathing tube while you sit reclined in a resting state.
Your test results will be explained to you along with instruction on how to build a supportive nutrition meal plan that aligns up with your unique calorie needs.
The resting metabolic rate test is also helpful in assessing possible hormonal imbalances that may lead to a slow metabolism.

Home Exercise Instruction Session

Small Group Personal Training
Looking for all the benefits of having a personal trainer without the costs of one-on-one training sessions? If so, a small group personal training program is just the solution you’ve been looking for.
Your personal trainer will work with you to ensure proper form and technique and help lead you to better results than you’d experience on your own. The camaraderie and encouragement from a small group provides you with the support and structure necessary to stay consistent with a fitness program.

Charleston Boot Camp
The “Charleston Boot Camp” program will help you burn unwanted body fat, increase energy, strength, flexibility, endurance, and improve your self-confidence. Boot Camp classes are unique in that they combine resistance training exercises with cardio for a complete total body workout.
If you want sculpted arms, a flat stomach, and defined legs, this is definitely the program for you. Boot Camp classes are a great way to get in shape fast while providing motivation, encouragement, and camaraderie that only a group can provide.

Prenatal Group Fitness
The “Healthy Moms” program is designed for pregnant women in all trimesters. The classes combine the use of light weights, resistance bands, and your own body weight to help you increase strength, muscle tone, and flexibility throughout your pregnancy.
The safest and most effective prenatal exercises are used to aid in an easier delivery and faster recovery for both mom and baby. Classes are instructed by owner Lynne Ramsdell who has received specialized training and certification in prenatal exercise.

Senior Group Fitness
The “Functional Fitness” program is designed for older adults, ages 65 and up, who want to slow down the aging process while gaining valuable strength, mobility, balance, and stamina to remain active. This program is unique in that it uses functional exercise instead of seated weight machines found in most health clubs.
Research has conclusively shown functional exercise programs to be the most effective routines for older adults. Classes are instructed by owner Lynne Ramsdell who has received specialized training and certification in senior fitness.
