Originally formed in December 2003 with only two clients, the company has since grown to locations in Charleston, Myrtle Beach and Bluffton. Unlike with most traditional health clubs, trainers at Shaping Concepts are at the top of the pyramid in our business model. Fitness training is all we do so trainers are our most important asset.

There’s also no devaluation of your time by making you complete free sessions or sell memberships like you may have to do in the health clubs.
In our business you won’t have to wear a t-shirt that says “trainer” on the back just so people know what you do. You’ll be known in your community as being an elite fitness professional and for being someone who is serious about getting results for clients.
I’ve personally worked the health clubs as an employee and independent contractor. I know what it's all about. As a personal trainer myself, I’ve built a business model that allows trainers to focus on the most important part of their job…delivering workouts that produce results.
