Steve Lawson is a certified Charleston personal trainer and fitness professional at Shaping Concepts. He has been a fitness enthusiast for the better part of his life. Since becoming a certified personal trainer over a decade ago Steve has enjoyed working in many different facets of the fitness industry.

While in college at Bowling Green State University working towards his BS in Exercise Physiology, Steve had the opportunity to coach and train a broad spectrum of individuals seeking their fitness potential.

Steve recently took a two year hiatus from his personal training path to explore outside interests. Leaving no rock unturned Steve could find no other calling that offered the rewards and satisfaction that personal training could.

Recently Steve became part of our team of Charleston personal trainers and has yet to look back. Steve feels that personal training is a career that has chosen him and he wants nothing more than to spread his knowledge and passion for fitness to those who truly want to learn.
