If You’re Feeling Depressed Check Your Gut

When most people think of depression they think of a chemical imbalance with the brain. While this makes sense, very few doctors or health experts even speak of the connection with your gut.

What in the world could your gut have to do with depression you ask? It could have a lot to do with it!

No silly, I’m not talking about the fact that you’re sad because you look in the mirror and don’t like what you see with your shirt off. I’m talking about what’s going on inside your gut.

Most people dont’ know that there’s actually more of the neurotransmitter serotonin located in your GI tract than in your brain! It’s true. So when you start discussing mind, mood, and behavior you need to look at the health of your gut as well.

In my video coaching tip for day I reveal why this problem is way more common than you’d think, how to recognize symptoms, and most importantly what to do about it.

If you don’t think there’s a correlation between the Standard American Diet (SAD) today and the fact that medications for depression, ADHD, and the like have SKYROCKETED in the past thirty years, you’re missing the 800 lb gorilla sitting in the room.
