The Truth About Eating At Night

Let me paint a picture for you and tell me if this sounds familiar. You had dinner at around 7:00 PM and now it’s 9:30 PM and you’re hungry again but you’re not sure what to eat. You don’t want to sabotage your weight loss but here’s the problem. You’ll be up for another couple of hours and who wants to go to bed starving? Am I getting this right so far? I get tons of questions over night time eating and figured it would be helpful to separate fact from fiction. Is it true that if you eat past 7:00PM you’ll store body fat? Post Workout Recovery Drinks

As I was getting my workout in last night I couldn’t help but notice how many people were walking around the gym with drinks in their hands. They were mostly energy drinks that are designed to help give you a boost for your workout.

These energy have become very popular and while their use is a discussion all by itself for another day, here’s what made me stop and think. You see a lot of people with energy drinks before their workouts but you rarely see people drink anything AFTER. (more…)

Walk into most any typical gym or health club today and you’ll undoubtedly find a large variety of exercise equipment to work every body part imaginable. When I go to the gym I workout at in the evenings (yes, I like to get away from my studios to get my mind right) it always amazes me when I see the majority of people spending all their time simply moving from one machine to the next.
