Dr. Jeremiah Jimerson DC

Dr. Jeremiah was born and raised in the Buffalo area of NY. He attended SUNY Fredonia in NY where he earned his Bachelor of Science and attained his doctorate at New York College of Chiropractic. Dr. Jeremiah was one of the first chiropractors to be selected to do part of his residency at a VA Hospital. There he worked along with Orthopedists and Neurologists, treating the musculoskeletal conditions of American Veterans. Dr. Jeremiah was influential in that pilot program which would be the catalyst for chiropractic students having the opportunity to complete such a program in VA hospitals across the nation. Dr. Jeremiah currently offers chiropractic and wellness care in the Lowcountry at Active Care Family Chiropractic in Summerville.

Dr. John Knepper MD

Dr. Knepper attended medical school at the Osteopathic Medical College of Philadelphia. In 1988 he moved to Mount Pleasant, SC to complete his Internship and Residency Training in Family Practice at the US Naval Hospital Charleston. From 1991 to 1994, Dr. Knepper served with the US Navy as a Family Practice physician in Okinawa. In March 2000, he established Sewee Family Medicine in Mt. Pleasant where he continues to treat patients today. Dr. Knepper is board certified in Family Practice. His is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Practice.

Dr. Marvin Arnsdorff DC

Honored nationally as the 1999 and 2006 Chiropractor or the Year, Dr. Marvin Arnsdorff is a board-certified chiropractor who has served in private practice in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina since 1986. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, the emphasis of his work has been focused on difficult disorders of the back and neck, scoliosis, spinal disc rehabilitation and the biomechanics of the spine and skeletal system. A native of Atlanta, Dr. Arnsdorff attended West Georgia College under the premedical program. He earned his Doctorate at Life Chiropractic College in his hometown in 1986. Dr. Matt Murrin DC

Dr. Murrin is a native of Newfoundland, Canada. He graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology, where he also served as professor in exercise physiology while pursuing a Master’s degree. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, Iowa. He practiced for several years in Indianapolis, Indiana before coming to Mount Pleasant. He is the first wellness professional in Mount Pleasant certified in Active Release Technique (ART), a treatment that accelerates the patient’s recovery from a myriad of biomechanical injuries. In addition to being a chiropractor, Dr. Murrin is also a Professional Fitness and Lifestyle Consultant (PFLC), the highest level of personal trainer in North America. As a result, he can make recommendations on simple changes in diet and exercise routines that help patients optimize their results toward total wellness.

Dr. Tiffany Jackson ND

Tiffany Jackson, ND is an expert in natural medicine and holistic health who has extensive training and expertise in nutrition, herbs, environmental medicine and health counseling. She uses a wide range of tools to promote the body's natural healing response including herbal medicine, nutrition, healthy lifestyle counseling and all natural weight loss. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts in 2001 and then pursued her doctorate at the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, Arizona graduating in 2005. Jackson's specialties include autism and weight loss. She is also a certified yoga instructor through Yoga Alliance.

Louisa Storen LISW, LMFT

Louisa has been a psychotherapist for over thirty two years working in both medical and mental health settings until she began private practice full time 26 years ago. Her practice mostly involves work with adults and her speciality is relationship work (marital therapy). Her appraoach is based on the seminal research which has evolved in the past twenty two years. Her philosophy is to focus on the ways a couple is competent, building on their strengths rather than emphasizing the "pathology" of the family system. Her goal is to give couples effective skills to enhance communication, friendship and intimacy in brief therapy. Often great strides can be made in as little as six sessions.

Matt Lee PT, MPT, OCS, CSCS

A Mount Pleasant resident since 2007, Matt recently joined Atlas Physical Therapy with the opening of the Mount Pleasant clinic. Matt earned his Master of Physical Therapy from West Virginia University in 2005 and has practiced Orthopaedic and Sports Physical Therapy since. He is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. His special interests include joint and soft tissue mobilization techniques, sports physical therapy, and general health and fitness promotion. Matt enjoys low country living with his wife Misha, daughter Caroline, and dog Killian. He enjoys collegiate and pro sports, local outdoor activities, and playing rugby with the Charleston Outlaws Rugby Football Club.
